The global objective of this assignment was to contribute to poverty reduction and long term sustainable economic growth perspectives through improvements in effectiveness and efficiency of social sector's performance in Tajikistan. The specific objective of the assignment was twofold:

• To  review  implementation  of  the Human Development Support Programme (HDSP  II)  and  provide  recommendations  for disbursement of the second tranche foreseen under this programme. 
• To support the EU Delegation to finalise the Action document of the future Health Development Support Programme.
