Projects

The specific objective is to provide technical assistance through the Project Management Unit in order to assure the overall management of the programme to Support the Reinforcement of Rule of Law in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in coordination with all stakeholders, particularly the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Development, the Minister of Justice, the Natioanl Institute of Administration for journalism and Judiciary and the Forum of Human Rights Organization and the European Union Delegation.

The programme to reinforce Rule of Law of Mauritania is divided in three main components:

• Improve access to justice;
• Reinforcementof juridical and judiciary institutions;
• Consolidation of Criminal Law abd penitentiary policies
