Global objective

The global objective of the assignment was to provide suggestions to the EU Delegation on how measures for addressing population growth in Malawi can be incorporated in its development cooperation programmes.

Specific objectives

A first specific objective of the assignment was to provide concrete and feasible suggestions on how measures for addressing population growth can be included in ongoing and future EU funded programmes in Malawi, in particular for secondary education and TVET.
A second specific objective was to identify opportunities, possible dialogue structures and potential entry points for a transversal policy engagement with Government around the issue of population growth, in a manner that both raises awareness and results in concrete action.
