Global objective of this project was to assist the EU Delegation in drawing up a comprehensive and strategic approach to peace and development in Mindanao which is aligned with the vision of the Philippine Government.

Specific objective(s) was:

·            To assist the EU Delegation in updating the needs assessment of Mindanao and building on from the various recent studies which are available over the last 5 years;

·            To come up with 3-5 key strategic areas of support based on the needs of the region, including appropriate indicators; 

·            To assist the EU Delegation in formulating a comprehensive peace and development programme in Mindanao taking into consideration multi-annual indicative programme (MIP) focal sectors of inclusive growth and rule of law.

The formulation team produced a comprehensive and quality report that details the EU support to peace and development in Mindanao.
