Both our experience in Justice and Civil Society projects have allowed ICE to acquire a solid expertise in Conflict Prevention actions centred on the inclusion of civil society in transitional justice processes and in supporting the adequate legal framework to do so.

Our main focus areas are:

• Design of alternative justice remedies;
• Support in transitional justice processes;
• Support and capacity building to Civil Society organisations to strengthen their role in public governance.

Furthermore, ICE works along Civil Society Organisations in the promotion of Education for Peace in the research of a preventive approach to conflict resolution based on the teaching and dissemination of the values of peace and equality.
